Purity is a Chartered Scientist and Food Safety professional working in London. Her pursuit for education brought her to the UK in 2008 where she studied and gained a bachelors degree in Food Science and masters in Food Safety and Quality Management.
‘The Kenya Society gives me the opportunity to network with other Kenyans and friends of Kenya and be informed of matters which impact Kenyans in the UK’.
With her professional training and love for Kenyan food, Purity founded Albinna, a food sharing recipe blog and site. She uses the platform to share her collection of food without frontiers recipes. Her future plans will see the platform being used to educate people in the UK and Kenya on sustainable living, her great passion, and also communicate other topical issues affecting the community.
Purity’s connections with Kenya are deep and she fondly remembers her early life spent between Nyanyuki and Nairobi.
